Scenario: Great first date; no call/no show on the second one; would you go on a third?
Had a really, really lovely first date with someone, followed by a call as promised to arrange a second. On the night itself: no call, no text, no show. Too cross to contact him on the night. Calmed down and sent a text next morning, got called back straight away with a reason, an apology, and an offer to make it up to me. I am convinced the *reason* he couldn’t make it is valid (genuine work crisis – covered on the local news next day!), but having trouble seeing why he couldn’t have at least texted me to let me know. Will probably give it one more shot. Am I being mad?
If it was on the news, I’d say that’s a pretty legitimate excuse.
BUT, if you’re the type that can’t deal with a man having that kind of job (that may take precedent over you and family now and then), just chalk it up to the two of you not being compatible.
I’d go for it though. I mean, one more date isn’t like you’re giving him your soul!!
